5- Branch.io Integration
We were using Firebase's "Dynamic Links" feature for our mobile referral module, which automatically routed customers to the app stores based on their device type (iOS/Android). However, since Firebase will soon be deprecating this feature, we've integrated it with Branch.io.
Gameball now supports Branch.io as a dynamic link provider, allowing us to generate referral links that track user activity and strengthen our user acquisition strategy.
Other key highlights:
- Tier Downgrade System Based on Refunds: Customers who refund purchases that previously helped them advance to a higher tier will now automatically downgrade to a lower tier if their total spent, orders count, or earned points fall below the tier threshold.
- Per-User Dashboard Language Configuration: Each user can now set their preferred language (e.g., English, Arabic) without affecting others in the same account, ensuring a personalized and seamless experience across multiple sessions and devices.
- New Cashback Setting - Exclude Shipping Fees from Rewards: A new setting allows businesses to exclude shipping fees from cashback calculations, ensuring that rewards are based only on the order subtotal, giving more flexibility in cashback strategies.
- Enhanced Tagging on Customer Profile Page: A smoother tagging experience now allows users to add, manage, edit, and remove tags directly from the customer profile, improving organization and customer segmentation.
- Unsubscribe Email Customization Page: Businesses can now customize their unsubscribe page with branding elements like logos, colors, and style to maintain a professional and trust-building experience when customers opt-out.
- 3rd Party Coupons Upload Section: A dedicated dashboard area for bulk uploading and managing external coupons, making it easier to integrate influencer codes, affiliate promotions, and partner discounts into Gameball’s coupon engine.
- Exclude Specific Customer Segments from Campaigns: Clients can now exclude certain segments from marketing campaigns to prevent redundant discounts, avoid over-messaging VIP customers, and target only relevant audiences for promotions.
- Customizable Event Selection for MoEngage Integration: Businesses can now select which events (e.g., Order Placed, Coupon Used) are sent to MoEngage, reducing data overload and improving the efficiency of automated marketing campaigns.
