This month is loaded with plenty of product updates that took place all across Gameball Dashboard. From automation enhancement to importing customers from other loyalty programs, take a look at what has changed during the month of August.
So, what are August's updates?
1- Trigger an Automation Flow When a Customer Creates a New Account
Automation is a tool where you get to reduce your workload and time by simply creating a flow of tasks to be automatically executed once a certain trigger takes place. Gameball has added "Account Created" as a trigger so that a chain of predefined events would occur once a new customer successfully creates an account.
This way you can create a sequence of actions to be applied to new customers one they signup like a welcome email or other types of incentives. You can also create and implement an automated plan that will motivate them to make their first purchase.

2- Trying Gameball Widget before Integration
You no longer need to go through the hassle of fully integrating your platform with Gameball just to test your configured widget. You can now easily see how the widget would look like on your phone. Just scan the Code you’ll find on our dashboard homepage and get a glimpse of how the widget looks based on your widget settings.
Note that this feature is not available for Shopify users.
3- Segment Customers using Three Additional Attributes
When you create a new segment, you get to decide the rules or criteria a customer must have in order to become under this segment. You now have the ability to classify and group your customers based on three new attributes:
- The channel of registration they used among the different sources of registration you have.
- The specific merchant they make purchases from.
- The particular branch they engage with for purchases.
