Having finished with the empowered campaign that disclosed four big services Gameball has been working on since the end of 2022, Gameball continues to improve the core functionality of these services as well as existing ones.
To conclude, the four major changes that took place during the first half of 2023 were:
- Completely new dashboard experience.
- Deep Insights and reports through the new RFM and Analytics section.
- Customer messaging tool called "Outbound."
- Tieing all features together with "Automation" for automated and coherent workflows.

So What’s New with Gameball?
1- More Control over Your Outbounds
Not only can you now see who of your players received and interacted with your outbound, but you can also control the frequency of messages each player would receive for every time interval.
This is, of course, only applicable for outbounds triggered by players' actions/events, so make sure you set a limit to your messages using our new Frequency Configuration engine. Learn how to create an outbound and set a frequency limit here.
Additionally, Web messages can be sent upon players' visit to certain pages only through the new Page Visit based engine under the rules section.
2- More Control over Your Automation
Same as in Outbound, you can now limit the number of times a player can get the automation workflow applied to them, and you can also track which of your players are in which stage of the automation flow. With a few clicks, you can now see all the players that have entered the customized automation, and then you can see where each of these players is at.
For example, if you have an automation that sends a player a message once they have added an item to a cart, and then adds a certain tag on the players who left before completing the order. You will be able to see how many and who exactly are in the stage of having the message sent to them, and who had the tag applied on their profile. Learn how to create an automation
In brief, you can now do the following:
- Control how many times a player can enter an automation
- Track and know which stage your players are in the automation workflow.
3- View, Compare, and Export Your Analytics Reports
Seeing numbers is great! But what good can numbers do if you can't view the entire picture, compare it with other numbers from a different time interval, export the exact data you need, and send it over to others who need to see it as well?
You can now do all of that and more by just clicking on any of the analytics insights, and you will be taken to a more detailed version of the selected piece of data where you can apply the mentioned actions. Check this yourself here
4- Advanced rewards options: control over redeemed coupons
Upon many requests by our customers, we've enabled you to further customize your extra redemption rules. There's now a set of rules to add for each coupon type while creating an extra redemption rule that players would also see on your widget before an attempt to use this coupon.
Here are the set of rules you may want to apply for each coupon type:
- Coupon expiry time span
- Minimum order amount
- Number of times a coupon can be used
- Using multiple coupon types in the same order

5- New Email Notification Template for Referred Friends
Notification customized to be sent automatically every time a player completes an event or achievement, such as winning a challenge, receiving cashback, redeeming points, successful referral, etc.
Now, you're not only able to notify the friend who made the referral upon the successful referral, but you can also notify the referred friend who just joined and welcome them using email notification.
