Gameball is back with a powerful set of new features that will elevate your gaming experience. In this update, we’ve focused on enhancing the ease of use and providing you with valuable insights. Let’s dive right in to see what’s new in the world of Gameball.
So, what’s new this month?
1- Editing Active Automations
You can now apply some edits to launched automation, such as changing triggers, actions, controllers, target audience, exit rules, etc. Gameball treats each type of edit differently based on the case. Make sure to check how these changes affect your players.
2- In-App Notification for Referred Friends Who Just Joined
You can now ensure that newly referred friend who just joined is notified of their referral reward using an in-app notification. This way, you can ensure your new players are motivated to complete their next order. Check out the new in-app notification yourself.
3- New Referral Experience for Players on Widget
In an attempt to make your players’ experience with referrals easier and smoother and ensure more successful referrals, Gameball product team has revamped the entire referral section on the widget. The referral section on the widget now has:
- Clearer communication of the referral rules
- Visible numbers of successful referrals and referrals in progress
- List of friends that were referred, along with their referral status
- A progress bar that shows how many referrals a player needs to get the extra reward

4- Exporting List of Players under Every Automation
You can now export the list of players who have joined any existing automation into a CSV file through simple clicks. With this exported data, you can perform in-depth analysis, make informed decisions, and tailor your strategies to engage and retain your customers better.
5- Viewing Automations’ Edit History
You can now keep track of the entire sequence of edits that took place since the Creation date of automation, as well as the person who made the edits. Check all your automation history yourself.
6- Deleting Player Profile from Your Dashboard (For Non-Shopify Users)
You can now easily delete a player from your Gameball database through a few simple clicks. Deleted players will be excluded from program activities. You can delete a player from their profile page on the dashboard.
7- More Player Information in the Automation Table
We have enhanced the table for players who have joined a specific automation. The new update introduces a “State” column that reflects the current state of each player within the automation, including “Waiting,” “Failed,” “Exited,” and “Completed.” Additionally, we have added a “Last Step Reached” column, indicating the most recent step the customer has reached based on their state. These additions provide valuable insights into the progress and status of individual players, enabling you to manage and optimize your automation more effectively.

8- Adding Coupon Source to Coupon Configuration
We are excited to announce a highly anticipated addition to Gameball’s Coupon configuration. We have introduced a powerful new feature that allows you to track the source of each coupon, providing valuable insights into its origin and usage within your customer engagement strategies.
With this innovative functionality, you can now add a coupon source while configuring your coupon gateway. By doing so, you gain visibility into where each coupon has been created, whether it’s tied to challenges, levels, referrals, redemptions, or automation.
9- Create/Update Player Action on Zapier
With this game-changing feature, you can effortlessly manage your player data and ensure a synchronized experience between your systems and Gameball. Whether you’re onboarding new players or updating existing ones, our Zapier integration empowers you to streamline your workflows and enhance your overall user engagement.
